The beautiful village of Hutton Rudby is situated in North Yorkshire on the edge of the Cleveland hills and only four miles west of the market town of Stokesley. The village is excellently positioned for ease of access to the North Yorkshire Moors, and other market towns, including Yarm, Northallerton and Thirsk.
The centre of Hutton rudby is the village green. On an annual basis, this is host to the village event; a marvellous opportunity for local groups and soceties to gather and raise funds for worthy charities. Equally as important, for us gregarious villagers, it is a time get together, listen to live music and enjoy the English outdors!!
Hutton Rudby enjoys a wealth of local amenities; notably the village hall, with it's array of classes and groups, including the well-renowned amateur dramatics society. Adjoining the village hall is the tennis club, sporting fabulous floodlit courts. The Spar shop, post office and butchers provide villagers with their general shopping needs and always with a smile. A small village we may be, but with three busy pubs, there is no lack of evening entertainment! With frequent live singers/bands and quizes, there's something for everyone.
